Cut measures approximately 2" in length and has been hand-signed by baseball legend, Lou Gehrig! This cut has been placed onto a photo of Gehrig that measures approximately 3" x 4.5" in size.

Lou Gehrig was one of baseball’s greatest players, known for his durability, power, and humility. Spending his entire 17-year career with the New York Yankees (1923-1939), he won six World Series titles, two American League MVP awards, and hit 493 home runs. Nicknamed the "Iron Horse" for his record-setting streak of 2,130 consecutive games played, Gehrig was a model of consistency and excellence. Tragically, his career was cut short by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), now commonly known as "Lou Gehrig’s disease." His farewell speech in 1939, in which he called himself "the luckiest man on the face of the earth," remains one of the most iconic moments in sports history. Inducted into the Hall of Fame that same year, Gehrig’s legacy endures as a symbol of courage, perseverance, and greatness.
