Photo measures 16" x 20" in size and has been hand-signed in silver paint pen by Wayne Gretzky (Oilers, Kings HOF).

On April 18, 1999, Wayne Gretzky laced up his skates for the final game of his career as a Ranger at one of the world's most famous arenas, Madison Square Garden. Unfortunately, that night the Rangers lost in overtime to the Pittsburgh Penguins but Gretzky added one more assist to his career total of 1,963 assists. When asked about the final game of his career Gretzky commented that, "my last game in New York was my greatest day in hockey." At the time of his retirement Gretzky held or shared a total of 61 records with 40 being regular season, 15 in the Stanley Cup playoffs and six in All-Star Games. It was an emotional evening but a memorable one where Commissioner Gary Bettman announced that the league will retire Gretzky's No.99.

The autograph includes an official Upper Deck Authenticated (UDA) hologram and matching COA for authenticity purposes.
