Roger Maris and Mark McGwire Starting Lineup Home Run Classic Doubles Record Breakers Figurine. The unopened box is 12" tall and features Roger Maris (Yankees, D. 1985) and Mark McGwire (Athletics) 3.5" tall figures. Please note, the box shows signs of wear, see photos for details.

McGwire played in the MLB from 1986-2001 for the Oakland Athletics and the St. Louis Cardinals. For his career, McGwire averaged a home run once every 10.61 at bats, the best at bats per home run ratio in baseball history (Babe Ruth is second at 11.76). McGwire finished his career with 583 home runs.

Roger Maris played for 12 (1957-1968) seasons on four teams (Indians, Athletics, Yankees and Cardinals). He hit a Major League record 61 home runs during the 1961 season for the New York Yankees, breaking Babe Ruth's single-season record of 60 home runs in 1927. Maris was a two-time American League Most Valuable Player (1960 and 1961), All-Star (1959-1962), and Gold Glove winner (1960).
