Peter Max's legendary cosmic runner glided bell-bottom clad through the galaxy, a colorful gravity-free master of time and space. It was originally created in the 1960's.

Included in the auction are the US Postal Service commissioned Max to create the first 10¢ postage stamp to commemorate the Expo '74 World Fair in Spokane, Washington. He chose his cosmic runner character as the massage to the world.

This is an original Peter Max piece. The piece measures approximately 8.5" x 11" and is hand-signed by Max. The reverse side is stamped with the proper 2010 copyright and a hand written archive number. The piece includes an authenticity guarantee and LOA from Pristine Auction.
