With 59 seconds to go, Dr. J executed a three-point play to give the Sixers the lead for good as they went on to sweep the Lakers and earn the organization's second championship. Erving averaged 19 points, 8.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 2.8 blocks and 1.3 steals per game in the series.
