On the obverse of 2019 1/20 oz Australian Gold Pig Coins is the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. This is the popular fourth-generation design from Ian Rank-Broadley. It was created in 1998 for the Royal Mint of England and continues in use on the Lunar Series II collection from Perth Mint to ensure continuity in the series.
The reverse includes the image of a large, adult pig. The pig on this side is featured alone, with a tree branch in the background field and rocks at its feet. The phrase Year of the Pig is included on this side along with the Chinese symbol for Pig.
