Plying his trade in Toronto, Ontario, Andrew Wiggins committed to playing college ball at the University of Kansas. He turned down offers from some of the top college programs in the country to sign with the prestigious Wildcats. In his lone season at Kansas before becoming an NBA star, Wiggins was one of the best players in the country. He averaged 17.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game. He shot 34 percent from 3-point range. The next year he would go on to capture Rookie of the Year honors as an up-and-coming Timberwolves small forward.
