Patrick Roy's jersey number 33 has been retired by both the Montreal Canadiens and the Colorado Avalanche. The emotional ceremony for the Montreal Canadiens retirement came prior to a 3-2 shootout victory against the Boston Bruins at the Bell Centre in Montreal. In front of the sold-out crowd of 21,273 fans, a banner with Roy's No. 33 was raised to the rafters. This 16"x24" UDA designed image was signed by Roy in silver paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five-Step Process.
