This vintage cut measures 2" x 2 5/8" in size and is hand-signed in graphite pencil by Babe Ruth (D 1948, HOF).
Babe Ruth, nicknamed "the Bambino" and "the Sultan of Swat", played Major League Baseball for the Red Sox, Yankees, and Braves over his 22 season career (1914-1935). Ruth was a 7x World Series Champion and 12x AL Home Run Champion. Ruth's career slugging % of .690 is a record that still holds today. He finished his iconic career with a .342 batting average, 2,873 hits and 714 Home Runs.
The autograph includes an official James Spence Authentication (JSA) full LOA for authenticity purposes. The inscription and date were penned in an unknown hand.
