Gold Hall of Fame postcard has been hand-signed in blue felt-tip pen by Tris Speaker (D. 1958, Red Sox, Indians HOF). Autograph has been graded (PSA 9).
Speaker is considered to be one of the greatest offensive and defensive center fielders in baseball history. For his career he complied a career batting average of .345 (6th all-time), hit 792 doubles (MLB career record), and 3,514 hits (5th all-time). On the defensive side he holds the record for most assist, double playsm and unassisted double plays by an outfielder. He won 3 World Series, the 1912 AL MVP, the 1916 AL Batting Title, was the 1912 home Run leader, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1937.
