Vintage Official American League Baseball. Hand-signed in blue ink by Thurman Munson (Yankees, D 1979). The autograph has been personalized "To Rodney, Good Luck". The entire inscription has been penned in the hand of Munson. The ball has exceptional, near perfect original American League stampings. Thurman's tragic death as a result of a 1979 airplane accident has left an extremely small supply of single signed baseballs for the legions of collectors desiring one. Munson is hands down one of the toughest singles of the sixteen retired jersey numbers that are retired in historic Yankee Monument Park. The autograph includes an official James Spence Authentication (JSA) hologram and matching LOA for authenticity purposes.
