Custom on-field style jersey. Everything is sewn on, size XL. Hand-signed in silver paint pen by Hideki Matsui (New York Yankees).

After playing his entire career within Japan, Matsui left Japan having amassed 1,390 hits, 332 HR, 889 RBI, and a .304 lifetime average. With the reputation of being a superior hitter, Matsui didn't disappoint in his debut hitting an RBI single in his first at-bat and adding a memorable Grand Slam in the 5th inning on Opening Day vs. the Twins. Since then, Matsui went on to carry the Yankees on his back in the 2009 World Series, hitting .615 with 3 HR and 8 RBI, and winning the 2009 WS MVP award in the process.

The lot / autograph(s) includes an official James Spence Authentication (JSA) hologram and matching COA for authenticity purposes. The signing of this item was witnessed by JSA.
