2018 Australia 1 oz. Silver Dragon $1 Rectangular Coin. The Perth Mint's products are wildly popular with stackers and collectors all over the world. The Perth Mint began operations in 1899 as part of the British Royal Mint system and continues today as an industry leader. This issue contains 1 oz. of actual silver weight and was struck on a .9999 pure silver planchet. This is a legal tender Silver Dollar under the Australian Currency Act of 1965.

The reverse of the coin features the image of a Chinese Dragon in pursuit of a flaming pearl. The Dragon is a popular mythic figure and is often depicted in pursuit of Wisdom or Energy in the form of a flaming pearl. The reverse was designed by Ing Ing Jong, the superstar designer from the Perth Mint. The obverse of the coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley designed effigy of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
