Award measures approximately 17.5" x 21.5" in size. This original award was presented to the the Beatles by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) to commemorate reaching $1 million in sales for the "Meet the Beatles!" LP released in January 1964. The album features the hit singles "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and "I Saw Her Standing There" and ranks #59 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. The award has been restored to excellent condition. Beatles white matte awards are rare and highly collectible - this album started the Mania!
