These gold Everlast boxing gloves are a limited edition release to commemorate Muhammad Ali's 1960 Olympic Gold Medal. The gloves are limited edition and numbered #201/500 and are hand-signed in black felt tip pen by Muhammad Ali (Boxing HOF). Rare vintage full-name signature. Includes the display case as shown. The display case includes a custom nameplate. The case is used and shows some wear including a 1" - 2" crack in the side of the acrylic.
Muhammad is generally considered among the greatest heavyweights in the sport's history. A controversial and polarizing figure during his early career, Ali is today widely regarded for the skills he displayed in the ring plus the values he exemplified outside of it. Ali remains the only three-time lineal World Heavyweight Champion; he won the title in 1964, 1974, and 1978.
The autograph includes a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Auction House LOA for authenticity purposes. Also includes a COA from Stacks of Plaques and a photo from the signing.
