This Standing Liberty Round commemorates the Standing Liberty quarter which was minted from 1916 until 1930. Please photos regarding the condition of the coin.

The image on the face of the quarter as well as this new copper round is the unique interpretation of the Statue of Liberty as a goddess. Hence, the nickname for the image is “Goddess Liberty.” Holding a sword and shield, Lady Liberty truly is presented as the protector of freedom and liberty. Goddess Liberty certainly does strike an imposing figure and the amazing attention to detail allows her to truly appear captivating.

The reverse side of the round also presents recognizable imagery. The grand American Bald Eagle is proudly on display. Above his head is the American flag waving in the wind. Truly, the round does capture a sense of patriotism that was once very common on currency in previous generations.

Due to the uniqueness of each item, please refer to the photos provided in this auction. We offer high resolution images of each item rather than a written description of condition.
