On the obverse side of each bar is the Perth Mint corporate seal. Inside the logo, a graceful swan is in the middle. The engraving “Perth Mint – Australia” is featured around the logo itself. Additional engravings include the bar’s purity, metal content, and weight.

The reverse side features the repeating image of a hopping kangaroos. The creatures are arranged in a horizontal pattern. Both the kangaroos and the corporate logo have deeply-mirrored finishes, creating an appearance of design sets that float above the matte background of the bar. These 1 Gram Perth Mint Gold Bars are the smallest produced by the facility.
