Vintage Official National League baseball has been hand signed in ink pen by (31) members of the 1959 Pittsburgh Pirates including Roberto Clemente (HOF, D. 1972), Smokey Burgess (D. 1991), Dick Groat, Bill Virdon, Elroy Face, Vern Law, Bob Skinner, Bob Friend, and others. The Danny Murtaugh signature has been deemed to be a clubhouse version by JSA.
