This trophy plaque was presented to Ken Stabler in 1975 after being selected Alabama's Professional Athlete of the year as selected by The Alabama Sports Writers Association.
The plaque measures 10" x 13" in size and shows some wear from age as shown.
Ken Stabler, nicknamed "The Snake", spent his legendary career with the Oakland Raiders (1970–1979), Houston Oilers (1980–1981) and New Orleans Saints (1982–1984). He finished his college career at Alabama with a 28–3–2 record as a starter. In the NFL, Stabler was the 1974 NFL MVP, a 4x Pro Bowl Selection, and won Super Bowl XI.
