The art is from the original portfolio in excellent condition created and published in 1969 on original lithograph stone plates drawn by Dali.

Marianne bound to the bed in servitude to the Chevalier as he watches.

Dali interpreted the 3 act play of the infamous Marquis with this surrealistic edition.

Salvador Dali signed the limited edition original lithographs, each with a unique image. In excellent condition, Each is individually signed by Dali and numbered in pencil. Interpretation by Dali of Plays written by Marquis de Sade in the 1700's. Shorewood Publishers commissioned Dali to paint the 25 Piece Suite, in essence, to interpret the plays and visually illustrate Sade's original works.

The resulting individual works by Dali have been critically proclaimed, "Stunning" and are considered some of Dali's Greatest Masterpieces!

The suite includes an official Salvador Dali Gallery COA for authenticity purposes.
