After leading the Los Angeles Galaxy to their second straight Supporters' Shield trophy and an undefeated 2011 regular season at home, Landon Donovan spearheaded his team's playoff run with a goal in both the quarterfinals and semifinals en route to the MLS Championship match. The 2011 MLS Cup paired the Western Conference Champion Los Angeles Galaxy versus the Eastern Conference Champion Houston Dynamo at the Home Depot Center. With the score tied nil-nil after 71 minutes of action before a sellout crowd of 30,281, the Galaxy’s star trio of David Beckham, Robbie Keane and Landon Donovan went to work against the Dynamo defense. Beckham got things started by heading the ball upfield to Keane, who led Donovan with a beautiful through ball that he skillfully played into the far corner of the net with 71:09 on the game clock. Donovan ran to the corner of the field and slid on his knees in a dramatic celebration before being mobbed by his teammates. Landon’s game winning goal in the 2011 MLS Cup propelled him to win the game’s MVP award. This limited-edition (10) official MLS match ball is autographed and inscribed “2011 MLS Cup Champs” in black by the 2011 MLS Cup MVP. Landon's crisp signature and inscription are guaranteed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated’s Five-Step Process.

The autograph includes an official Upper Deck Authenticated (UDA) hologram and matching COA for authenticity purposes.
