This vintage 1940's postcard was issued at Jack Dempsey's New York Restaurant. The postcard depicts Dempsey knocking out Jess Willard on July 4, 1919 to become Heavyweight Champion of the World. Hand-signed and inscribed on the reverse side of the postcard in black ink pen by Jack Dempsey (D 1983). Please note, inscription has been personalized.
