Michael Jordan played for the Washington Wizards in the NBA during the 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 seasons. After retiring from basketball in 1999 following his second three-peat with the Chicago Bulls, Jordan returned to the NBA as a player and part-owner of the Wizards.

Although Jordan's time with the Wizards was not as successful as his years with the Bulls, he still managed to make an impact on the court. Despite being in his late thirties and early forties, Jordan was able to showcase his skills and had several notable performances during his tenure with the team.

In the 2001-2002 season, Jordan averaged 22.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game. He played in all 82 regular-season games, and his performances included a 51-point game against the Charlotte Hornets and a triple-double game against the New Jersey Nets.

The following season, 2002-2003, Jordan's numbers dipped slightly as he battled injuries, but he still managed to average 20.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. He played in only 60 games that season.

After the 2002-2003 season, Jordan decided to retire for the third and final time. He left a lasting impact on the Wizards franchise and the NBA as a whole
