Jimmie Foxx, often referred to as "Double X" for his remarkable power at the plate, was one of the most dominant sluggers in the history of baseball. Born in 1907, Foxx burst onto the scene with the Philadelphia Athletics in the 1920s, showcasing his prodigious hitting ability and versatility as both a first baseman and outfielder. He was a three-time American League MVP, a nine-time All-Star, and a two-time Triple Crown winner, amassing an impressive career batting average of .325 with 534 home runs and 1,922 RBIs.
