This incredible vintage baseball has been hand-signed by Thurman Munson (D. 1979, New York Yankees).

The ball is also signed by Phil Niekro (D. 2020, Milwaukee Braves, HOF), Steve Blass (Pittsburgh Pirates), Joe Niekro (D. 2006, Houston Astros), and (1) other signer.

Thurman Munson, a beloved figure in New York Yankees history, was a tenacious catcher and team captain during his career in the 1970s. Munson earned multiple accolades, including the American League MVP award in 1976, and he was a key contributor to two World Series championships for the Yankees in 1977 and 1978. Tragically, his life and career were cut short when he died in a plane crash in 1979, leaving a lasting legacy in the hearts of Yankees fans.

Phil Niekro, known for his knuckleball mastery, had an extraordinary career spanning 24 seasons in the MLB, primarily with the Atlanta Braves. His unique pitching style made him one of the game's most durable and consistent pitchers. Niekro was a five-time All-Star, two-time National League Cy Young Award winner, and the oldest player in MLB history to record a win at the age of 48. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997, cementing his status as one of the greatest knuckleball pitchers in the history of the sport.
