Original 1st Edition Bill Graham Poster Promoting JANIS JOPLIN & HER BAND and JAMES BROWN at the Winterland and Fillmore West on March 20-21 and March 22-23, 1969. The Bill Graham poster series were for concerts he promoted (1966 – 1971) at the legendary venue called the Fillmore West. These shows included a wide array of different types of music that appeared on the same bill. Bill Graham loved showcasing different types of music to his crowds. This historic series of posters were used to promote ticket sales for the weekly events/concerts. Every one of the posters is pictured in the coffee table book about Rock Concert Posters entitled “The Art of Rock” by Paul Gruskin. #165
