Elsa Peretti is a jewelry designer, philanthropist and former fashion model from Florence Italy. While modeling, Peretti began showing her jewelry to fashion designers in Manhattan including Giorgio di Sant' Angelo and Halston. As an independant designer she had joined Tiffany & Co. in 1974 and had received the Coty Award and had her first appearance in Vogue Magazine. Her organic, sensual forms revolutionized jewelry design and seduced the world.
