"Rock Star: INXS" was a reality television competition series that aired in 2005, aiming to find a new lead vocalist for the iconic rock band INXS following the tragic passing of their original frontman, Michael Hutchence. Hosted by Dave Navarro and Brooke Burke, the show featured 15 aspiring singers competing in various challenges and performances. Throughout the series, these contestants were evaluated by band members Kirk Pengilly, Garry Gary Beers, Jon Farriss, and Tim Farriss, as well as by celebrity guest judges and audience votes. The winner, J.D. Fortune, earned the opportunity to join the band as their new lead vocalist. The collaboration resulted in the release of the album "Switch" in 2005, which included the hit single "Pretty Vegas." While the partnership between INXS and Fortune marked a new chapter for the band, "Rock Star: INXS" remains a significant moment in their storied career.
