This Wilson mask was game-used by Ivan Rodriguez during the regular season with the Texas Rangers. Rodriguez signed the mask and inscribed "Game Used" along with his signature. Rare opportunity to own game worn catcher's gear from one of the greatest ever to play the game!
Nicknamed "Pudge" or "I-Rod" Ivan Rodriguez played for the Texas Rangers, Florida Marlins, Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees, Houston Astros and Washington Nationals.
Rodriguez was awarded the AL MVP award in 1999. He is widely regarded as one of the best defensive catchers of all time.
Rodriguez won the World Series with the Marlins in 2003, and also played in the 2006 World Series while with the Tigers. On June 17, 2009, Rodriguez set an MLB record by catching his 2,227th game, passing Carlton Fisk. He is a 14x All-Star, 13x Gold Glove Award winner and 7x Silver Slugger Award winner.
On January 18, 2017, he was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown in his first year of eligibility.
