The 1996 NBA All-Star Game had its typical offensive explosion as a pair of rosters littered with future Hall of Famers. The NBA was celebrating its 50th season and celebrities had been in attendance at the event in San Antonio all weekend. But the real story of the game was the appearance of Michael Jordan. The game on 2/11/96 marked the first All-Star Game for Jordan since his return from retirement following his foray into professional baseball. Jordan would go on to lead the Bulls to an NBA Finals championship later that season, the fourth in his illustrious career and the first of three straight to end his Bulls career. The East secured a 129-118 win in the All-Star Game behind Jordan's 20 points on 8 of 11 shooting with four rebounds. Always looking to place an original mark on the history of basketball's most iconic items, UDA had Jordan physically write out the inscription '2/11/96 MVP' and then got that inscription embroidered directly onto this 1996 All-Star Game East jersey.
