The 5 oz Walking Liberty Silver Bar is a product of the Highland Mint based in Florida. Due to their high value and their low premium over spot, silver bars have become a popular favorite among collectors and investors over the past few years. Each of these bars has been minted from 5 troy ounces of .999 fine silver. The Highland Mint has engraved this information onto the front of the bar for both convenience and verification.

Apart from its vital statistics, the front design of the bar also incorporates the same Walking Liberty image that is featured on the obverse side of the Silver American Eagle Coin. This image depicts Lady Liberty walking across a field toward the rising sun. In one hand, she holds a bundle of branches while the other one stretches before her in a welcoming gesture. She is meant to embody the generosity with which the US shares its resources and opportunities.
