Titled "RIP Janet," this original oil painting commemorates a beloved tree near Brianna Voron's home, lost to a parking lot expansion. Voron, deeply affected, managed to save a piece of the tree trunk the day it was reduced to a pile of rubble. She chose to display it alongside the painting at Chaos Theory 22 in Phoenix, AZ as a way to connect her audience to its memory. While a necessary evil, it's disheartening that beautiful old trees are often cut down for urban growth.

Custom framed by Voron herself in maple with cherry splines.

Brianna Voron is a visual artist based out of Phoenix, Arizona. She is invested in creating all of her work completely by hand, with the highest quality materials and attention to detail. Her current body of work takes on an illustrative quality, drawing on nature and her own memory for inspiration. Voron spends her days creating in her art studio, working in her wood shop, and wandering the American Southwest.
