Dudley Do-Right "Dudley & Nell" Limited Edition 12.5" x 10.5" Sericel from Universal Studios (Universal COA & PA LOA)

Dudley Do-Right and Nell Limited Edition Sericel. Created for collectors in 1999, the same year the live-action Dudley Do-Right film starring Brendan Fraser was released. Dudley Do-Right, created by Alex Anderson with Chris Hayward and Allan Burns, is the hero of "Dudley Do-Right of the Mounties", a segment on The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. Dudley Do-Right is a dim- witted, but conscientious and cheerful Canadian Mountie who is always trying to catch his nemesis, Snidely Whiplash, and rescue damsel in distress Nell Fenwick, his boss's daughter, with whom Dudley is deeply infatuated. Limited to 5000 pieces in the edition. A sericel is produced by creating a hand-inked, hand-painted color model of animated characters, which is then transferred to the acetate cel by a silkscreen printing process known as serigraphy.
