In hockey, the first goal on a new team for a player is always a cherished moment. Typically, the puck is retrieved by the team’s equipment manager and taped up with the date written in sharpie then given to the player as a souvenir. In Connor McDavid’s third game in the NHL, he scored at 12:18 of the second period against the Dallas Stars. He went on to score an impressive 15 more goals in a season where he missed 37 straight games due to injury, and also recorded 48 points with 32 assists. McDavid seems to always find a way to squeeze between defenders and find the back of the net.
