The design on these rounds is a copy of the designs on the well known and lover Morgan silver dollar that was used in circulation in the late 19th century. The obverse is an effigy of Lady Liberty. George T. Morgan, the designer of this coin, used Anna Willess Williams, a teacher and philosopher, as a model for his design. Instead of the standard inscription seen on the obverse, the Highland Mint Mint mark “HM” can be seen.

The reverse design is a heraldic eagle, also designed by George T. Morgan. On this round it is encircled with the inscription “ONE TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER.”
