Hank Aaron, often referred to as "Hammerin' Hank," is celebrated as one of the greatest baseball players of all time. Over his 23-season career, primarily with the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves and briefly with the Milwaukee Brewers, Aaron set numerous records, most notably breaking Babe Ruth's home run record by finishing with 755 career home runs. Beyond his power-hitting, he was a consistent and complete player, amassing 3,771 hits, 2,297 RBIs, and a career batting average of .305. Aaron's accomplishments include 25 All-Star selections, three Gold Glove Awards, and a World Series title in 1957. His election to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982, in his first year of eligibility, was a fitting recognition of his extraordinary achievements and enduring impact on the sport.
