1990-91 O-Pee-Chee Hockey Wax Box with (48) Packs

36 packs per box, 9 cards per pack.

At 528 cards, this was the largest set ever issued by O-Pee-Chee. Cards measured the standard 2 1/2" by 3 1/2". The fronts featured color photos bordered by team colors. A hockey stick is superimposed over the picture at the top border. Bilingual backs had blue lettering on a pale green background and had biographical information and career statistics.

This is the largest single O-Pee-Chee set ever produced, includind cards from the Russian league for the first time.

The Russian set includes a 22 card insert set from the Central Red Army team inserted one per pack!!!
