1984 "The Terminator" Factory Sealed VHS Tape (Beckett 8.5)

Overall: 8.5 | Edges: 7.5 | Gloss: 9.6 | Seal: A

Horizontally factory sealed "The Terminator" HBO Cannon Home Video VHS tape. Features a circa early 1984 sleeve and no UPC sticker adhered to the factory seal.

Based on a fever dream director James Cameron experienced during the release of his first film, "The Terminator" can be summed up in a single line by Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn):

Listen, and understand! That Terminator is out there! It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop... ever, until you are dead!

A terrifying fever dream for Cameron, yes, but one that resulted in a film's release that catapulted him to a position from which he directed the numerous big-budget action epics we know him for today.

The tape has been encapsulated and graded 8.5 by Beckett (VHSDNA):

Overall: 8.5 | Edges: 7.5 | Gloss: 9.6 | Seal: A
