1993 Playmates Toys "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Scratch Series 6 Factory Sealed Action Figure (CAS 7.5)

1993 Playmates Toys "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Scratch figure measuring approximately 5" tall. Series 6 with a 54 back. Comes with Jail Bird Sidekick, Bag O' Burgled Loot, Criminal Cake Gun and Felonious Fish Club accessories.

Released in 1988 - the height of Turtlemania - Playmates Toys grew with the TMNT franchise. Fans will already know that the original "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" comics by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird featured adult themes and were generally targeted at an older audience. While the original serialization continued under Mirage Studios, another team - Archie Comics - was tasked with printing a series based on the hit animated show.

The 1993 Series 6 set only included seven basic action figures - the item featured is the rarest among them. The Toy Collector's Guide calls the Scratch figure "Rare" and called it a "Holy Grail Item."

The factory sealed figure has been graded 7.5 by CAS.
