Jared Goff made his highly anticipated NFL debut on November 20, 2016, as the Los Angeles Rams faced the Miami Dolphins. The first overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft started the game but struggled to find a rhythm, completing 17 of 31 passes for 134 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. Despite Goff’s efforts, the Rams fell 14-10 in a closely contested game. While his debut was modest, it marked the beginning of Goff's journey as the franchise quarterback for the Rams.
