This pre-rookie Mantle signed 1950 World Series Champion New York Yankees team signed baseball is very rare. Mantle's signature on this baseball could be the earliest signature from Mantle and it is extremely rare to find an early Mantle signature on a baseball also signed by Joe DiMaggio. Mantle was called up to play for the 1950 New York Yankees during the legendary team's spring training. The Yankees later went on that year to win their 13th World Series.
