This vintage magazine photo measures 4.25" x 4.75" in size and is hand-signed and inscribed "Sincerely" in black ink by Babe Ruth (D 1948, HOF).
Babe Ruth, nicknamed "the Bambino" and "the Sultan of Swat", played Major League Baseball for the Red Sox, Yankees, and Braves over his 22 season career (1914-1935). Ruth was a 7x World Series Champion and 12x AL Home Run Champion. Ruth's career slugging % of .690 is a record that still holds today. He finished his iconic career with a .342 batting average, 2,873 hits and 714 Home Runs.
The autograph has been authenticated by James Spence Authentication and encapsulated in partnership with Beckett for authenticity purposes. The autograph was given a solid grade of "5" out of "10". The case has a couple of chips around the edges.
